Is a 5 bedroom student house to rent, just what you are looking for?

You may have presumed that choosing your new university course would be the hardest part of your academic journey, but choosing the right accommodation can be equally as difficult.  So what are your options? Of course some people may choose not to stay away from home at all, job done!  However if you are moving further afield you might consider student halls, private student developments or maybe a 5 bedroom student house to rent.

What are the benefits of a 5 bedroom student house to rent?

Ouch! It sounds expensive. Not necessarily, you need to remember that you will be sharing the responsibility of the payments with your housemates.  A student house also offers the advantage of freedom. You can decide which area of a city you prefer to live and perhaps the most important factor, who you live with! A 5 bedroom student house to rent will also ensure you are the envy of all your friends, as you will have the advantage of a spacious living room, ideal for parties…but don’t forget about the neighbours.

Any disadvantages? You may incur additional travel costs if your house is some distance from the University.

Final Tip: Keeping the landlord happy is key. Always pay on time and look after the property.

Private Student Development

The great advantage about Private Student Developments is that they tend to be more modern than student halls, with an added level of luxury, You often find this type of accommodation in key locations, near to shops and transport networks, some even have the added luxury of games rooms and onsite gyms. There is not really much not to like, but you pay for all the amenities so it can be more costly than student halls.

Student halls are popular with those in their first year. If this is the first time you are away from your parents, you will enjoy that new feeling of independence and access to a fun social scene. Just remember that you will be sharing bathrooms and kitchens with others and some students have a reputation for being a tad messy.

Whether you are considering a 5 bedroom student house or an alternative type of accommodation, it is always important to have a clear idea of budget and ensure you can afford the rent, as well as associated costs.
