Student Accommodation Nottingham University: Your Guide To The Best Plants!

If you are looking to personalise your new student accommodation Nottingham University, a cheap way to start is with plants. Plants give interiors a life, they make rooms appear less austere and can even be beneficial to your health. Can you afford not to find out more?

Which plants should I bring to my student accommodation Nottingham University?

When you signed the lease for your new student accommodation Nottingham University, you might have suddenly been hit with the reality that money does not grow on trees! Ironically the first plant on our list is actually The Money Tree. Yes of course the name does amuse us, however it lends a tropical vibe to student interiors and has been known to help alleviate stress. Pop it on your desk during exam times.

Next we have cacti and succulents. Of course they are totally on trend, but they are also very low maintenance. Keep it simple with just one plant or create a desert type scape. Remember to place in an area with plenty of light.

The Peace Lily, emerald leaves and white blooms, a stunning addition to any room. The Peace Lily has long been celebrated for it’s effectiveness at purifying the air but did you also know that it can improve memory? How can you possibly not afford to buy one?

Of course many student rooms are just very beige and they need colour bringing to them. Whilst your strict budget might not run to coloured wallpapers and curtains, you possibly could afford a beautiful Anthurium. This common house plant is instantly recognisable and has bright red blooms which make a space feel homely. It is also known to improve mood, so you know what to do if you have a grumpy neighbour!

Are there any other plants to consider for my student accommodation Nottingham University? Ferns are a must for those with respiratory conditions, whilst the ZZ plant is know to aid sleep. And finally, if you are in need of a self esteem boost, the Snake Plant is the one to go with.

Go Green Fingered.
