The heart of it all, Nottingham’s city centre is a fun and vibrant place to be. Whether you’re a UoN or NTU student, you’ll find yourself in your downtime taking full advantage of the range of bars, clubs, restaurants and activities the city has to offer. (psst, don’t forget to use your student discount)
Centred around the Arboretum park and close to NTU City Campus, living in the ‘Arb’ is always one of the best places to be as a Trent student in the summer, picnic anyone?
In and around the Forest Recreation Ground is an increasingly popular area with Trent students due to the great transport links and cheaper rents than in the city centre. Just a stones throw from Nottingham’s legendary Goose Fair and Bonfire display and did we mention an Asda Superstore?
Beeston is one of Nottingham’s most sought after areas and popular with postgraduate UoN students. There is a bustling high street with a large range of shops and bars/restaurants.
The best place to be for UoN undergraduates and NTU undergraduates, if you are a house of mixed universities this is located in the middle of the two. Due to the high population of students within this area, Lenton always has a real buzz in the air especially during term time and don’t forget to visit the Savoy Cinema.
The home of Nottingham Forest, Notts County, and Trent Bridge Cricket Ground, West Bridgford is home to all manner of bars, pubs, restaurants, and shops. It’s just a short bus or tram to Clifton Campus or the City Centre making it perfect for NTU students looking to live in an attractive suburb.
